Our Camp Director
Debbie Giles
Debbie Giles connection to a Florida College Camp in California started when she was 10 years old and camp was held at Camp Maranatha in Idyllwild. As a camper she counted the days and relished her week of friends and fun. She attended Florida College and represented the college as a Camp Friend, and then continued on as a counselor in subsequent years. From 1999 – 2004, Debbie and her husband Tim were co-directors with Mable Rampey. They returned in 2012, and she’s still busy with camp while Tim retired in 2022. When Debbie isn’t planning and preparing for camp, she’s a homeschooling mom and works as a director/tutor and support representative for Classical Conversations.

Janelle Fox
Janelle Fox has been involved with SoCal FC camp for 25 years between being a camper and serving as a camp counselor. She is a high school math teacher and serves on the board of our SoCal Chapter of the Hutchinson Bell. Janelle has three children and her oldest son is attending Florida College. Every year she looks forward to camp week because of how much fun it is, being able see how much the campers have grown and matured from year to year, and seeing everyone build relationships that encourage us to stay the Christian course throughout the year.
